The story of this bench captures the important part music plays in the lives of people everywhere, but especially in Millheim and State College.

 

This project has been a great way to share some of the things that mean most to me in Centre County, which has been my home nearly all of my life.

About the Artist:

Karl Leitzel Karl Leitzel grew up in the Penns Valley area of eastern Centre County where he still lives.  He has been a professional artist and sign painter most of his life and is currently the managing partner and a resident artist at the Green Drake Gallery and Arts Center in Millheim, PA.
