Bald Eagle Valley

Artist: Brienne Brown

Location: Milesburg Historic Museum, 205 Market Street, Milesburg, PA 16853d

I moved to the village of Julian over 4 years ago and I have fallen in love with the Bald Eagle Area.  I wanted to depict some of the wonderful views from the Bald Eagle Valley that I love; the wonderful towns and people as well as the beautiful farms and streams.  There was so much to choose from.

“I am honored to have participated in the Book Benches of Centre County project.  I love the idea of wonderful artists of the community sharing their talents to promote the fantastic area we live in.  I have seen many of the amazing benches created and I am proud to have been involved."

About the Artist:

Brienne Brown From a young age, Brienne loved art but pursued a career in science.   After graduating with a Master’s degree in Chemistry, she soon found that art was more than a hobby, it was a necessity.   She left her toxicology job and began painting more consistently.   Soon she was not only exhibiting and entering shows regularly, but also winning awards.   Brienne’s passion is watercolor and plein air.  She loves using the slightly controlled chaos nature of watercolor in bringing the everyday to life.  Her work has been published in Splash 17:  Inspired Subjects, PleinAir Magazine, and Watercolor Artist Magazine.  Brienne lives and works in Julian, PA.
